(Spring version)

Sumo angels bring elephants and deers, pigs, cows, camels, chikins.
And they bless to the gilt large Buddah.
'Yoi, hakke-yoi!'


Yakushi Buddah of Ullambana

`Ullambana` means the Bon festival in Sanskrit.
The Bon festival is thetraditional Japanese ceremony
in which the ancestors are believed
to return to our world in the middle of summer.
Sumo angels really want the world to be a beautiful and peaceful place.
Therefore, they have their Bon dance festival.
'Dodonn Dondondon! '
("Yakushi" is the Buddah of medicine)


Naniwa Nirvana

Sumo angels appear at Shin-sekai in Osaka
the rowdiest place in western Japan.
(Naniwa is another calling of Osaka)
Nirvana is Buddhism word that
means disappearance from suffer from worldly desires.
Sumo angels surround and pray for laying Buddha,
and say 'Yoi, hakke-yoi!'
